PV 16 PA 12– COUNT BY 1s, 10s, 100s FROM THREE-DIGIT NUMBERS
Children begin to investigate counting forwards and backwards by 10s, and by 100s, on and off the decade, and on and off the hundred. Children explain which digits change and why.
This will allow children to begin to develop the understanding that they will apply to adding and subtracting three- and four-digit numbers – integrated with Addition and Subtraction 21.
