NUMBER 7 -Subitise the number in small groups without counting.

As students develop their capacity to count forwards and backwards, recognise numerals and write numerals, and apply these to counting items, developing and explain their understanding of inclusivity and conservation, they begin to investigate subitising.
Because research shows that subitising is vital to the development of number sense, we have kept Subitising as an individual concept to give it the attention it needs!
