MG 59 – CONVERT BETWEEN LENGTH UNITS OF MEASUREMENT USING MULTIPLICATIVE PLACE VALUE
Children convert between all metric length units.
They use their understanding that units of measurement of length are created by multiplying and dividing metres by powers of 10, to use multiplicative place value to convert between units.
Children who have not yet demonstrated understanding of converting between length units of measurement using fractions and decimals will investigate these Levels.
