MG 29 – TRIANGLES – REGULAR, IRREGULAR, SYMMETRY, RIGIDITY

Children describe regular and irregular triangles in different sizes, in different orientations and with different numbers of equal sides and equal angles.
They identify the 3 sides as straight lines.
They identify the point where the sides meet as a vertex.
Children identify symmetry in triangles with 3 equal sides and 3 equal angles, in triangles with 2 equal sides and 2 equal angles, and in triangles 0 equal sides and 0 equal angles.
Children test triangles for rigidity.
